Paul W. Miller      

     Paul W. Miller, 96, passed away Dec. 7, 2006, following a long illness.

     He was born Feb. 17, 1910, at Swords Creek, Va., to the late Elbert S. and Rosalie Perkins Miller, and had resided in the Clark Valley area of Swords Creek for 50 years prior to moving to Powhatan in 1997.
     He is survived by two daughters, Anna Lee Harris of Glen Allen and Alma and husband Gerard Campanelli of New York; two sons and their wives, Clifford Edsel and Alice Butcher Miller of Powhatan and Kirby Dwaine and Lois Edwards Miller of Sandson; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
     Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ivory Ratliff Miller, on April 21, 2005; son, Paul Douglas Miller; five sisters, Eunice Vandyke, Hattie Jackson, Eva Starnes, Edna Miller and Mable Harris; and six brothers, Justin, Jessie, Chester, Benton, Clayton and Robert Miller.
     The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Highway, Route 60, Powhatan Va.

Interment: Powhatan Community Cemetery.
