Marian Audrey Batchelor-Robinson

        Marian Audrey Batchelor-Robinson, daughter of the late William and Sadie Morris-Batchelor, was born in Powhatan, Va. on July 15, 1939.

        Marian was educated in the Powhatan Public Schools and graduated with honors from Powhatan Senior High School.

        Marian moved to Washington Metropolitan area in 1958 where she met and married Winifred Robinson (deceased 1986). From this union they had three sons; Rodney, Keith and Angelo.

        She was employed with several agencies in the Washington, D.C. area as a Home Health Aide and retired from Nursing Enterprise, Inc. in early 2001.

        Marian was a happy, compassionate and loving mother who thoroughly enjoyed her family and friends, especially her four grandchildren: Cheyenne, Da Angela, Deanta and Christopher. She proved this love over and over by helping to raise her nieces and nephews.

        Marian enjoyed preparing large, delicious and nutritional meals for family and friends. She also enjoyed attending Free Gospel Deliverance Temple to fellowship, attend Bible study and Sunday services where she was baptized and remained a faithful member.

        Marian leaves to cherish fond memories: her three sons, Rodney, Keith and Angelo; four grandchildren, Cheynne, Da Angela, Deanta and Christopher; two brothers, Milton and Roland from New Jersey; sisters-in-law, Helen from New Jersey, and Alease and Nancy from the Washington area; a devoted friend, Daisy; three loving daughters-in-law, Kecia, Salena and Kawanna; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
