        Mary L. Deacon Drew, of Powhatan, VA., departed this life April 15, 2010 in Richmond, VA.

        She is survived by one son, William Drew Jr. (Elizabeth); two daughters, Laverne Goode (Douglas) and Cynthia Morris; two sisters, Deacon Cora Anderson of Powhatan and Minnie Love of New York; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two aunts, Deacon Edith Cox and Elizabeth Jasper; one brother-in-law, Joseph Allen; and other relatives and friends.

        Remains rested at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, where the family received friends Sunday, April 18. Funeral services were held Monday, April 19 at First Antioch Baptist Church, Powhatan, VA. Rev. Carlton J. Seay officiating. Interment church cemetery.
